If so, the Learning Tech office has two Ultra asynchronous trainings available for PDH:

  • Blackboard Ultra Basics, which is a broad introduction and overview of Ultra. This is a good place to start if you have not yet started on your own course conversion and have had limited exposure to Ultra.
  • Blackboard Ultra – Introduction to the Gradebook: if you are somewhat familiar with Ultra but haven’t really done any deep exploring, this one is for you. You will learn the ins and outs of the Ultra gradebook.

I have completed both and can attest that they are interactive and informative. Each is worth one PDH so, if you need some PDH before the end of the semester, I highly recommend you complete them both.

You will find these training by going to this page and scrolling down until you see this:

Click on the option you want. The links will take you to Cornerstone to register and start the training. If you pick the PDH version, you will need to complete a quiz at the end of the training to receive your certificate.

Also, there is still time to help LT plan their training in Spring 2025 by completing this form before November 22.
